Water and its connection to Peruvian territory is the central theme of the Rivers series. Flowing from Andean glaciers, rivers nourish both Pacific and Atlantic ecosystems, linking biodiversity with local communities across a vast landscape.

In Up to the River, artists Ana Barboza and Rafael Freyre evoke water’s constant and circular flow: water dissolves all fixed boundaries, forming collective weavings that merge plants, rivers, communities, art and traditions.
